Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash and dry the fresh peaches. Cut in half, remove pits, but keep them whole.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together sweet rice flour and sugar. Slowly add cold water, stirring until smooth and thick.
  3. Prepare a steaming dish by greasing or lining it. Pour in mochi dough and steam for 20-25 minutes until translucent.
  4. Let the mochi cool for 10-15 minutes at room temperature to become easier to handle.
  5. Dust a surface with sweet rice flour. Cut the mochi into large enough squares to wrap around the peaches.
  6. Wrap each peach in mochi, ensuring they are fully covered.
  7. Refrigerate the wrapped mochi for at least 30 minutes. Serve cold with coconut ice cream or honey.
