  3. Beat the egg in another bowl until smooth and homogenous.
  4. Dip each crab stick into the beaten egg, allowing excess to drip off.
  5. Dredge the egg-coated crab stick in the flour mixture, pressing firmly to adhere.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  7. Carefully add coated crab sticks in batches to the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove fried crab sticks with a slotted spoon and place on a wire rack to drain excess oil.
