Burger Preparation
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into four equal parts and form into patties.
- Place the patties on the preheated grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until cooked through.
- During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheese to each patty and close the grill lid to melt the cheese.
- Remove the patties from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
- To assemble, place the patty on a toasted bun and add lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, and mustard to taste.
