Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until evenly blended.
  3. Cut cold butter into cubes and add to flour mixture. Work the butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and combine it with the crumbly mixture until just combined.

  6. Beat the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, then whip until stiff peaks form.
