Step-by-Step Instructions for Japchae
- Soak the sweet potato glass noodles in a bowl of hot water for 30 minutes, or until softened. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add beef, cooking for 4-5 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add carrots, bell peppers, and onions. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vibrant. Add spinach for the last minute to wilt.
- Return the protein to the skillet with vegetables. Add soaked noodles, soy sauce, and sesame oil, and toss for 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with green onions and serve warm.
