- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Wet your hands and shape the mixture into elongated oval patties, about 10 to 12 in total. Place them on a tray lined with parchment paper.
- Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes. Lightly grease the grill with olive oil.
- Grill the kofta for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through with an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
- Prepare the garlic yogurt sauce by mixing the yogurt, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Add minced garlic if desired.
- Serve the grilled Chicken Kofta on a platter with the garlic yogurt sauce drizzled on top or served on the side.

Notes
Store leftover Chicken Kofta in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For freezing, lay cooked kofta in a single layer on a baking sheet, then transfer to a freezer bag once solid.
