Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • Food Processor
  • spatula
  • 8x8-inch baking dish

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by crushing your graham crackers into fine crumbs using a food processor or a rolling pin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbs with melted butter until well combined.
  3. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a lined 8x8 inch baking dish for a solid foundation.
  4. Place the crust in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to set.
  5. In a large bowl, beat the room temperature cream cheese using an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  6. Gradually add the peanut butter and powdered sugar, mixing until fully combined with no lumps remaining.
  7. Retrieve the chilled crust from the refrigerator, spoon the creamy peanut butter filling over the crust, and spread it evenly.
  8. Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and return it to the refrigerator.
  9. Chill the bars for at least 4 hours, although overnight is even better.
  10. Once chilled and set, slice the bars into squares or rectangles as preferred.
  11. Drizzle with melted chocolate before serving.
