Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt ½ cup of salted butter over medium heat until golden brown.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the browned butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar, and blend until smooth.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the sugar mixture and mix until fully combined.
  5. Gradually add baking soda, salt, and all-purpose flour to the wet mixture and mix gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in the rice Krispies and mini marshmallows.
  7. Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, allowing 2 inches between cookies.
  8. Bake for 10-13 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
  9. Cool cookies on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
