Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Stir them together until evenly mixed.
- Pour in milk and maple syrup or honey. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Transfer the oat mixture into individual jars or airtight containers, filling each about three-quarters full.
- Seal tightly and place in the refrigerator. Allow to chill for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- When ready to serve, stir the oats well and top with your favorite additions.

Notes
Store prepared oats in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 5 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before enjoying.
