  • 0.5 cup Caesar dressing use a Greek yogurt-based dressing for lighter option
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese or grated Romano
  • 1 cup Romaine lettuce or substitute with spinach or mixed greens
  • 0.5 cup cherry tomatoes or substitute with grape or regular tomatoes
For Cooking and Toasting
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or cooking spray
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter for toasting the croissants
For Seasoning

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine shredded cooked chicken with creamy Caesar dressing, tossing until evenly coated. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken mixture and cook for 3–5 minutes until warmed through.
  3. Carefully slice each croissant in half. Spread unsalted butter on the inside of each half.
  4. Toast the croissant halves in the skillet, buttered side down, for about 2 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Layer chopped Romaine lettuce on the bottom half of each toasted croissant.
  6. Spoon the warm chicken mixture over the lettuce.
  7. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the chicken.
  8. Add halved cherry tomatoes on top.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Place the top halves of the croissant over the fillings and serve immediately.
