Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Cut your French bread or challah into 1-inch cubes and layer half in the bottom of the pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, and 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the layer of bread, ensuring even distribution.
  5. Add the remaining bread cubes on top of the cream cheese mixture and press gently.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, brown sugar, and remaining vanilla until blended.
