- Boil a large pot of salted water. Pulse breadcrumbs until coarse crumbs.
- Blanch the broccolini for 2 minutes, then transfer to ice water.
- Toast breadcrumbs in a skillet with olive oil for 3-5 minutes.
- Char the broccolini in the same skillet for 2-3 minutes.
- Cook linguine in boiling water for about 9-10 minutes.
- Sauté scallions and garlic in butter for 2-3 minutes.
- Add reserved pasta water and simmer, then stir in linguine and cheese.
- Fold in the charred broccolini and serve topped with breadcrumbs.
