Preparation
- Wash and hull the strawberries, then chop into small pieces. Place in a sealable jar, add white sugar, and stir gently. Allow to sit for 1 hour at room temperature to release juices.
- In a teapot or heat-proof mug, bring water to just below boiling. Add Earl Grey tea leaves or tea bags and steep for 3-5 minutes.
- Fill a tall glass halfway with ice. Pour in the macerated strawberry syrup, followed by the cooled Earl Grey tea. Mix gently.
- Pour in your preferred milk and stir gently until well combined. Admire the inviting color and aroma.
- Garnish with fresh strawberry slices or a sprig of mint. Serve immediately for the best experience.
