  3. Spread a generous layer of tomato sauce over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border for the crust.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce, mixing in provolone if desired.
  5. Arrange pepperoni slices on top of the cheese evenly.
  6. Dollop ricotta cheese around the pizza, distributing it evenly.
