Steps
- Sauté the onions by adding olive oil to the Instant Pot on sauté mode. Toss in the diced onions and cook until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the spicy sausage to the pot and sauté for about 5 minutes until browned.
- Press CANCEL and mix in the diced tomatoes, garlic powder, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, cream cheese, and chicken broth.
- Seal the lid, set to PRESSURE COOK for 5 minutes.
- Perform a quick release and stir in heavy cream and parmesan until melted.
- Serve hot, garnishing with fresh parsley and extra parmesan.
