Steps
  1. Sauté the onions by adding olive oil to the Instant Pot on sauté mode. Toss in the diced onions and cook until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the spicy sausage to the pot and sauté for about 5 minutes until browned.
  3. Press CANCEL and mix in the diced tomatoes, garlic powder, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, cream cheese, and chicken broth.
  4. Seal the lid, set to PRESSURE COOK for 5 minutes.
  5. Perform a quick release and stir in heavy cream and parmesan until melted.
  6. Serve hot, garnishing with fresh parsley and extra parmesan.
