- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter with 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Allow the butter to bubble for about 1-2 minutes.
- Carefully place wedges of cabbage in the pan, searing for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
- Add the finely chopped yellow onion and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring until soft and golden.
- Stir in 4 minced garlic cloves and 1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in ½ cup of heavy cream, scraping the pan to deglaze and letting it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add ½ cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese and 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley, stirring until smooth.
- Return the seared cabbage wedges to the skillet, spooning sauce over them, and cook for an additional 5 minutes on low heat.
