Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. If using star anise, add it now. Turn off the heat and cover the pot to steep for about 10 minutes.
  4. Add loose-leaf black tea or tea bags to the mixture and steep for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  5. In a separate saucepan, gently heat 2 cups of milk over medium-low heat until steaming.
  6. Strain the cinnamon and vanilla infusion through a fine mesh sieve into the pot with warm milk.
  7. Add honey or your preferred sweetener to taste and stir to incorporate.
