Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in sour cream, vanilla extract, and lime zest.
  2. Spread cheesecake filling on the center of each flour tortilla and roll tightly, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F. Fry taquitos in batches for about 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Remove taquitos and place on paper towels to drain. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
  5. Serve warm paired with fresh fruit or chocolate sauce.
