Preparation Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, maple syrup, and water. Stir until the mixture holds together, forming a cohesive dough.
- Grease a tart pan lightly, then evenly press the dough into the bottom and up the sides.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Once heated, place the crust in the oven and bake for approximately 15 minutes.
- While the crust is baking, blend the softened Medjool dates, coconut milk, vanilla extract, sea salt, and cornstarch in a blender until smooth.
- Once the crust is baked, pour the blended filling into the tart crust and smooth the top evenly.
- Return the assembled tart to the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Once baked, remove the tart from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature.
