Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine room-temperature unsalted butter and granulated sugar. Beat on medium speed for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the room-temperature egg and vanilla extract, mixing on low speed until combined.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredient mixture until just incorporated.
  6. Divide the dough into three equal portions. Mix one portion with freeze-dried strawberry powder and another with matcha powder.
  7. Scoop out and roll each color of dough into balls, pressing them together before rolling in granulated sugar.
  8. Place the cookie dough balls on prepared baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are slightly golden.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
