Description

A decadent dessert combining rich brownie, creamy cheesecake, and hot fudge, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Maraschino cherries for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until well combined.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared springform pan, spreading it evenly.
  6. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer in the pan.
  7. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cream cheese layer, spreading it gently to cover.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow to cool completely in the pan.
  9. Once cooled, drizzle hot fudge sauce over the top of the cheesecake. Top with whipped cream, chopped nuts, and maraschino cherries.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to set the layers.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try adding a teaspoon of espresso powder to the brownie batter.
  • You can substitute the hot fudge sauce with caramel sauce for a different twist.
