- 2 cups brownie bites (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 cups chocolate pudding
- 2 cups whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup crushed walnuts (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Fresh berries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- If using homemade brownies, bake according to package instructions or your favorite recipe, then let them cool completely before cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, prepare the chocolate pudding according to package instructions and set aside.
- In another bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold in the vanilla extract.
- In a large trifle dish or individual serving cups, layer half of the brownie bites at the bottom.
- Add half of the chocolate pudding over the brownie layer, followed by half of the whipped cream.
- Sprinkle half of the mini chocolate chips and crushed walnuts (if using) over the whipped cream layer.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining brownie bites, pudding, whipped cream, and top with the remaining chocolate chips and walnuts.
- Cover the trifle with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the layers to set.
- Before serving, garnish with fresh berries if desired.
Notes
- For a different flavor, substitute vanilla pudding for chocolate pudding.
- Add a layer of caramel sauce between the layers for extra sweetness and flavor.
