- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, lime juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Add the chicken tenders to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
- Remove the chicken tenders from the marinade and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
- Serve the chicken tenders with a side of steamed vegetables or over a bed of rice for a complete meal.
