Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, lime juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Add the chicken tenders to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
  4. Remove the chicken tenders from the marinade and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
