Instructions

- In a separate large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, remaining sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- If using cocoa powder for a chocolate flavor, sift it into the milk mixture and whisk until smooth.
- In a 9×9-inch baking dish, layer half of the crushed graham crackers on the bottom.
- Pour half of the milk mixture over the graham crackers, followed by half of the strawberries.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining graham crackers, milk mixture, and strawberries.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld and the pudding to set.
- Before serving, top with whipped cream if desired.
