Description

A delightful Strawberry Brownie Ice Cream Sundae Trifle that layers brownie bites, vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream, topped with chocolate and strawberry syrups.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups brownie bites (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1/4 cup strawberry syrup
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large trifle dish or individual serving glasses, start by layering half of the brownie bites at the bottom.
  2. Add a layer of half of the vanilla ice cream over the brownie bites, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  3. Layer half of the sliced strawberries on top of the ice cream.
  4. Spoon half of the whipped cream over the strawberries, spreading it evenly.
  5. Drizzle half of the chocolate syrup and half of the strawberry syrup over the whipped cream.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining brownie bites, ice cream, strawberries, whipped cream, and the remaining syrups.
  7. Top the final layer with chopped nuts if desired and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
  8. Chill the trifle in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla.
  • Add a layer of crushed graham crackers for extra texture and a hint of flavor.
