Description
A delicious seafood lasagna featuring shrimp and crab meat, layered with ricotta, mozzarella, and marinara sauce.

- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound lump crab meat, drained and picked over for shells
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Gently fold in the cooked shrimp and crab meat.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Spread half of the seafood mixture over the noodles, followed by another layer of marinara sauce. Repeat the layers with 3 more noodles, the remaining seafood mixture, and another layer of marinara sauce.
- Top with the last 3 noodles, remaining marinara sauce, and the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let the lasagna cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the shrimp while cooking.
- Substitute the marinara sauce with Alfredo sauce for a creamy variation.
