Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss until they are well coated.
  3. On a large sheet pan, arrange the asparagus in a single layer. Drizzle with a little olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the shrimp on the sheet pan alongside the asparagus. Add lemon slices on top of the shrimp and asparagus.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque and the asparagus is tender.
