- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced into thin strips
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (any color)
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup snap peas
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons sha cha sauce (Chinese BBQ sauce)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced chicken to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the chicken is cooked through and lightly browned.
- Add the minced garlic and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the bell peppers, broccoli, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Pour in the sha cha sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together to coat the chicken and vegetables evenly. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve the stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles.
Notes
- For added heat, include sliced jalapeños or a dash of chili oil during cooking.
- Substitute the chicken with tofu or shrimp for a different protein option.
