Description
Seafood Lasagna with Shrimp & Crab is a delicious and hearty dish that combines layers of pasta with a rich seafood filling and creamy cheeses.

- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound crab meat, lump or claw
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until they turn pink. Gently fold in the crab meat, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Layer 4 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by half of the seafood mixture. Add another layer of marinara sauce.
- Repeat the layers: 4 noodles, remaining ricotta mixture, remaining seafood mixture, and another layer of marinara sauce. Top with the last 4 noodles and the remaining marinara sauce.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let the lasagna cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, consider adding a layer of béchamel sauce between the layers.
- Substitute the seafood with your favorite fish or use a mix of different seafood for a unique flavor.
