- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup angel food cake, cubed
- 1 cup granola
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth and thickened, about 2 minutes.
- In a large trifle dish or individual serving cups, layer half of the cubed angel food cake at the bottom.
- Add half of the vanilla pudding mixture over the cake, followed by half of the whipped cream.
- Layer half of the sliced strawberries and blueberries on top of the whipped cream.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining angel food cake, pudding, whipped cream, and the rest of the berries.
- Top the final layer of whipped cream with granola for added crunch.
- Chill the trifle in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
- For a chocolate twist, use chocolate pudding mix instead of vanilla and add chocolate shavings on top.
- You can substitute the berries with your favorite fruits like peaches or raspberries for a different flavor profile.
