- 1 pound fresh sushi-grade salmon, diced
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons capers, rinsed and drained
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Tortilla chips or cucumber slices for serving
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the diced salmon, avocado, red onion, capers, and dill.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the salmon mixture and gently fold until well combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled with tortilla chips or cucumber slices.
Notes
- For added crunch, mix in some diced cucumber or bell peppers.
- Substitute lime juice for lemon juice for a different flavor profile.
