Ingredients

  • 2 green tea bags
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and fresh mint for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the green tea bags. Steep for 3-5 minutes, then remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and honey or agave syrup. Stir until the sweetener is fully dissolved.
  3. Add the cooled green tea to the pitcher, followed by 4 cups of cold water. Stir well to combine.
  4. Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey or agave syrup.
  5. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint if desired.
