A refreshing and simple recipe for Green Tea Lemonade that combines the health benefits of green tea with the zesty flavor of lemon.
Ingredients

- 2 cups water
- 2 green tea bags
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
- 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and fresh mint for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the green tea bags. Steep for 3-5 minutes, then remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
- In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and honey or agave syrup. Stir until the sweetener is fully dissolved.
- Add the cooled green tea to the pitcher, followed by 4 cups of cold water. Stir well to combine.
- Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey or agave syrup.
- Serve over ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint if desired.
Notes
- For a fruity twist, add sliced strawberries or raspberries to the pitcher before serving.
- If you prefer a stronger tea flavor, steep the green tea bags for an additional 2 minutes.
