Description
Peach Cheesecake Cobbler Rolls are a delightful dessert that combines the flavors of fresh peaches and creamy cheesecake wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the diced peaches, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Mix well and set aside to let the flavors meld.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Spoon a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of each triangle, followed by a tablespoon of the peach mixture.
- Roll up each triangle starting from the wide end, tucking in the sides as you go to seal the filling inside.
- Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- For a twist, try adding a sprinkle of nutmeg to the peach mixture.
- Substitute blueberries for peaches for a different flavor.
- Drizzle a simple glaze made of powdered sugar and milk over the rolls for extra sweetness.
