Description
A delicious twist on traditional meatloaf using ground chicken and Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, onion, garlic, egg, milk, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with your favorite sides.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider mixing in some chopped spinach or bell peppers into the meat mixture.
- You can also substitute the marinara sauce with barbecue sauce for a different taste.
