Description

Oreo Delight is a delicious layered dessert featuring a creamy filling, chocolate pudding, and a crunchy Oreo crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs (about 24 cookies)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup crushed Oreos for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine the Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Gently fold in 1 1/2 cups of the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until smooth and creamy.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled Oreo crust.
  6. In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk for about 2 minutes until it thickens. Spread the pudding evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Top the pudding layer with the remaining whipped topping and sprinkle crushed Oreos on top for garnish.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the layers to set properly before serving.

Notes

  • For a minty twist, add 1/2 teaspoon of peppermint extract to the cream cheese mixture and use mint Oreos for the crust.
  • Substitute vanilla pudding for chocolate pudding for a different flavor profile, or layer in fresh fruit like strawberries or bananas for added freshness.
