Description
Nutella Cheesecake Bars are a rich and creamy dessert that combines the flavors of Nutella and cheesecake, set on a graham cracker crust.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup Nutella
- ½ cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form a crust.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with ½ cup of sugar until smooth and creamy. Add the vanilla extract and egg, mixing until fully incorporated. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
- Add the Nutella to the cream cheese mixture and beat until well combined and smooth. Gently fold in the heavy cream until just combined.
- Pour the Nutella cheesecake filling over the prepared crust, spreading it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For an extra touch, drizzle melted chocolate over the top before serving or sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts for added crunch.
- You can also substitute peanut butter for Nutella for a different flavor profile.
