Description
Indulge in these creamy Nutella Cheesecake Bars, a delightful dessert that combines a rich cheesecake filling with a buttery graham cracker crust.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup Nutella
- ¼ cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form an even crust. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with ½ cup of sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Add the egg and mix until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, gently fold the Nutella into the cream cheese mixture until swirled but not fully combined for a marbled effect.
- Pour the Nutella cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust and spread evenly. Drizzle the heavy cream over the top and use a knife to create swirls.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the center is set and slightly jiggles. Remove from the oven and let cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Then, refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set completely.
- Cut into bars and serve chilled.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, try adding a pinch of sea salt to the Nutella mixture.
- You can also substitute the Nutella with any chocolate hazelnut spread of your choice.
- For a crunchier texture, fold in some chopped hazelnuts before baking.
