Description
A delicious and easy no-bake dessert featuring a creamy peanut butter filling layered with fresh bananas, all nestled in a graham cracker crust.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- Chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are well coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust. Refrigerate for 15 minutes to set.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until fully combined.
- Pour half of the peanut butter filling into the prepared crust. Layer the sliced bananas evenly over the filling. Top with the remaining peanut butter filling, smoothing it out with a spatula.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or until set. For best results, chill overnight.
- Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips if desired. Slice and enjoy!
Notes
- For a chocolate twist, use chocolate graham crackers for the crust or add cocoa powder to the peanut butter filling.
- Substitute almond butter or sunflower seed butter for a different nut flavor or to make it nut-free.
