- 1 ½ cups crushed graham crackers
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust. Place the crust in the refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well blended.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
- In a separate bowl, combine the shredded coconut and chopped pecans. Sprinkle the coconut-pecan mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of the pie.
- Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Slice and serve chilled.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, consider adding a tablespoon of coffee or espresso powder to the cream cheese mixture.
- You can also substitute the pecans with walnuts for a different nutty taste.
