A delicious and refreshing New York Deli Shrimp Salad perfect for a light meal or appetizer.
Ingredients

- 1 pound cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (optional)
- 4 cups mixed greens or lettuce for serving
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked shrimp, diced celery, and chopped red onion.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the shrimp mixture and gently toss to coat all the ingredients evenly.
- If using, fold in the fresh dill for added flavor.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve the shrimp salad over a bed of mixed greens or lettuce.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a few dashes of hot sauce or a pinch of cayenne pepper to the dressing.
