Description

A delicious and indulgent cake combining chocolate and peanut butter flavors, perfect for dessert lovers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  3. Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture over the cake batter. Use a knife to swirl the peanut butter into the cake batter gently.
  5. Sprinkle the chocolate chips, chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and pecans (if using) evenly over the top of the cake.
  6. Pour the milk over the entire cake, allowing it to soak in.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cake to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cake mix instead of regular chocolate cake mix.
  • Add a drizzle of melted chocolate or caramel sauce on top before serving for an extra indulgent treat.
