- 2 cups chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined and smooth.
- Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture over the cake batter. Use a knife to swirl the peanut butter into the cake batter gently.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips, chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and pecans (if using) evenly over the top of the cake.
- Pour the milk over the entire cake, allowing it to soak in.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cake mix instead of regular chocolate cake mix.
- Add a drizzle of melted chocolate or caramel sauce on top before serving for an extra indulgent treat.
