- 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Season the salmon fillets with thyme, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Place the fillets skin-side down in the skillet.
- Cook the salmon for 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy, then carefully flip the fillets.
- In a small bowl, mix the lemon juice, heavy cream, and chicken broth. Pour this mixture over the salmon in the skillet.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the salmon.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the seasoning mix.
- Serve the salmon over a bed of sautéed spinach or alongside roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
