Description

Mocha Oreo Dirt Cake is a delicious layered dessert combining the rich flavors of coffee, cream cheese, and Oreo cookies, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed Oreo cookies (about 20 cookies)
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • Chocolate shavings or additional crushed Oreos for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and brewed coffee. Stir until the cookies are well-coated. Set aside to soak for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  4. Fold the chocolate pudding into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  5. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese and pudding mixture until smooth.
  6. In a large serving dish or individual cups, layer half of the soaked Oreo mixture at the bottom. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the Oreos, then repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Top with whipped topping and garnish with chocolate shavings or additional crushed Oreos, if desired.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld and the cake to set.

Notes

  • For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso instead of brewed coffee.
  • Add a layer of chopped nuts or chocolate chips between the layers for added texture and flavor.
