Description

Baked Mayonnaise Fish is a simple and delicious dish featuring fish fillets topped with a creamy mayonnaise mixture and baked to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (6-ounce) fish fillets (such as tilapia or cod)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Place the fish fillets in a baking dish and spread the mayonnaise mixture evenly over the top of each fillet.
  4. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the mayonnaise-covered fish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is opaque in color.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a teaspoon of hot sauce to the mayonnaise mixture.
  • Try using different types of fish, such as salmon or haddock, for varied flavors and textures.
