Ingredients

  • 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Brush the olive oil mixture evenly over the top of the salmon.
  4. In another small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, and lemon juice until well combined.
  5. Spoon the mustard mixture over the salmon fillets, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
