Description

A delicious and easy recipe for Maple Mustard Glazed Salmon that combines sweet and tangy flavors for a delightful meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the maple mustard glaze generously over the top of each fillet.
  4. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  5. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the glaze.
  • Serve the salmon over a bed of quinoa or with steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
