- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound lobster meat, cooked and chopped
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped lobster meat and sauté for 2-3 minutes until heated through. Remove the lobster from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the cooked fettuccine and lobster back into the skillet. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired sauce consistency.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
- Add steamed broccoli or spinach for extra vegetables and color.
