Description

A delightful and indulgent dessert combining layers of brownie, cream cheese, chocolate pudding, and Oreo cookies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups brownie mix (plus ingredients required on the box)
  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies (about 10 cookies)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup chocolate pudding (prepared)
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Additional crushed Oreo cookies for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions. Bake in a 9×9 inch pan and allow to cool completely.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  4. Once the brownies are cooled, cut them into small squares.
  5. In a large trifle dish or individual cups, layer the ingredients starting with a layer of brownie squares, followed by a layer of the cream cheese mixture, then a layer of chocolate pudding, and a layer of crushed Oreo cookies. Repeat the layers until the dish is filled, finishing with a layer of the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Top the trifle with mini chocolate chips and additional crushed Oreo cookies for garnish.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the trifle to set.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try adding a layer of caramel sauce between the layers.
  • You can also substitute the chocolate pudding with vanilla pudding for a different taste profile.
