Description

Hot Chocolate Lasagna is a decadent dessert that layers graham cracker crust, cream cheese, whipped topping, and rich hot chocolate flavors, topped with mini marshmallows and chocolate chips.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup hot chocolate mix (plus extra for garnish)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until well blended. Spread this mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the hot chocolate mix and milk until fully dissolved. Pour half of this mixture over the cream cheese layer in the baking dish.
  4. Spread the remaining whipped topping over the hot chocolate layer.
  5. Pour the remaining hot chocolate mixture on top of the whipped topping layer.
  6. Sprinkle mini marshmallows and chocolate chips evenly over the top.
  7. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  8. Before serving, dust with extra hot chocolate mix for garnish.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add a layer of chocolate pudding between the cream cheese layer and the hot chocolate layer.
  • You can also substitute the mini marshmallows with crushed peppermint candies for a festive twist.
