Description
Savory Maple-Glazed Salmon Nuggets served with a Zesty Ginger Dip.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound salmon fillet, skinless and diced into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons tamari or soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 cup creamy yogurt
- 1 tablespoon finely grated fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking tray with aluminum foil.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the maple syrup, tamari, avocado oil, onion powder, black pepper, and sea salt.
- Add the diced salmon and gently mix until each piece is thoroughly coated. Allow to marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Arrange the marinated salmon pieces on the prepared baking tray in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is tender and flakes easily.
- While the salmon is baking, prepare the Zesty Ginger Dip by whisking together the yogurt, grated ginger, lime juice, and maple syrup until smooth.
- Once the salmon nuggets are finished baking, let them rest for a few minutes.
- Serve warm alongside the Zesty Ginger Dip.
Notes
- For an extra touch, sprinkle chopped cilantro or sesame seeds over the salmon nuggets before serving.
- If you enjoy heat, mix in a pinch of cayenne pepper to the dip for added zing.
